I’m
Bill Adams... I live out in the wild west on Northwood Circle
I’m
retired from AT&T... My wife Tep and I moved to LH in 1998
I’ve
been proactive on the AC for 3 yrs and have written a number of guidelines to
protect property values, and the environment, and to insure consistant
procedures
There
is a number of changes which I would advocate as a Board member
I
would employ resident & committee expertise in board decision making
·
The
association should be a democracy, not an triumvirate
·
I
would allow audience comments during board meetings
·
I
would encourage timely web reporting of board and committee
meetings
·
I
would formally reinstate the clubhouse committee and
empower them to get the facility open
I
would insist on accountability and results, and eliminate wasteful spending.
·
The
Roving Patrol should report rules violations and contractor abuse
·
Match
staff size with actual work required following utility sale
·
Reduce
legal fees by employing common sense (instead of lawyers)
After
the new documents are voted down I will evaluate alternatives
·
One
possibility is common declaration in the existing format
· Features like boat regulation, refusing boat storage on-property and subassociations should be omitted from any declaration
I
would insure contracts and agreements are in the community interest.
·
I
would be thorough, skeptical and fair in formulating commitments with
the Developer and outside contractors
I
would argue for a sensible budget and revise the inherited one if
necessary
·
We
need to start saving for future projects like the dam
I
would like to extend these (and other) initiative to the Board where I think I
can bring a new sense of order and purpose.
A
vote for Bill Adams is a vote for common sense
Thank you for your attention and your vote
