true that! a little capital will go a long way being the new lawsuit we are in, carl informs me he did this once before we try to sell shares , this gets the course under reconstruction, and we start on the lots we will resurvey ( buildable on course) remember we can subdivide and put 900 lots on the market, but were trying to do something new to the valley, retirement villas with a golf course to anchor it.

it`s not good no one will touch this place, we are on our last bit of personel capitol. we spent alot on surveying and design, but with the property assoc in trouble no investors will take a chance, its to risky the board shut down conversations with us and wants crazy proffers , like golf cart bridges over every road for instance, and apercent of what we make , and a percent of golf club memberships, we don`t think were going to make it, and the community won`t under this board.

Obviously the Golf Course is never going to be sold. Carl Simms keeps it as an active listing so that he can say he's trying to sell it, collect the deposit money from interested buyers, and then refuse to sell it. That way, he can keep a hold on Lake Holiday, (or at least part of it) and prevent it from prospering the way it should be able to, :?

Good for Carl, he was unfairly treated. Kept costs down and the golf course open, which is more than I can say for the clowns in charge now.

Now why would he keep it open to enhance the property values for a bunch of a-holes who had just had him removed from his position as GM? And who also had contested his right to own it in the first place. It's like every bad thing that has happened here over the past 7-8 years it was all driven by a bunch of know it alls who thought getting rid of Carl would be some kind of majic pill just like the fools who voted for Obama we wanted change and in Carls case just like in Obamas case be careful what you wish for cause you might get it. And no he closed it as I would have rather than deal with this HOA.

The golf course was mismanaged and shut down long before Carl was removed!

Didn't say it wasn't mismanaged as everything is at The Summit I said it would not have been in his best interest to continue to operate it and deal with a group of idiots making insane requests. You as most people at the Summit are most likely a newcomer relying on hersay. Believe me there have been many that would have opened the golf course if they didn't have to deal with the morons in the big white house.

Hmmmmm! I wonder how Carl became the owner of the golf course. Was he the Chairman of the HOA Board when it slipped away from our association? Who was responsible for that action and the failure of the golf course? I believe Carl may have been responsible for the mismanagement of both entities! Could that be possible? It is really hard to get the true picture of what has happened here. Fore!

It's hard because you were not around and you don't for the most part know what you're talking about. The golf course slipped away because the very same people ruining everyones investments here now, were to busy trying to get rid of Carl to know or see what was happening before their very eyes. Sort of what's happening now before our very eyes, a lifetime of work and investment rendered worthless by a bunch of know it all outsiders who couldn't leave well enough alone.
